I reach for Firehole hooks 8 out of 10 times, and these are always my go to for tying emerger patterns of all types. The hook gap is perfect on these.

Excellent hook, it doesn't bend when you tie a fly, one of the sharpest hooks I have. I have not tried them yet in the rivers or lakes, I hope to test especially the hook retention with trout.
