4 Strand Rayon Floss

Floss worked great for tying a partridge and orange wet fly but is a bit brighter than I anticipated. Description is “burnt orange” but it’s a fairly bright orange. Not quite hunter/day-glo bright but closer to this than a muted orange that I was expecting. Not stopping me from using it!

I tried this 4 strand Rayon floss for one type of bead head. I liked it so much I purchased in 4 additional colors. Whenever I need to build up a good body base, this floss performs well. It maintains its shine, color, strength. I have also separated the four strands at times with no issues.

I have used this for any fly that calls for floss, but my favorite is to separate it and use it on wet fly and spider bodies. Highly recommend.
