This is a strong, waxed fly tying continuous polyester filament thread, measuring 72 denier. It has a breaking strength of 19 oz. Lies flat on the hook, strong for its diameter. 200 yd. spools.
I use a lot of different threads, they all have their place and this is another example of a great product. UTC is a good thread for sure.

Good midge thread used for less build up and small heads

Love this thread
Use the 8/0 for about 80% of my tying nowadays. Everything from midges to my big articulated streamers. Only time I don't use 8/0 is if I have to put a lot of pressure on some material.
