Baitfish Emulator Flash

This was a new product for me. I had seen a few online videos on how to tie with this material and thought I would give it a shot. Much easier than expected and caught my personal best bass on a fly that I tied. Really cool to experience to share with my Dad.

I use this material on some of my large predator flies where i need flash. This material can be used alone to make quick streamers, but I use it primarily in the color scheme of a streamer pattern to add flash and contrast. A couple wraps is all it takes. Its also useful as tail flash on your flies. Just tie a few strands in, cut off the connecting string, and trim to size. Try some out!

I really like this material to incorporate into my larger streamer patterns. I've found it's not long enough to make really large flies by itself but makes great material to put around the head area.
