Classic 3366 Fly Hook

I find these hooks work for small to medium Clousers, weighted and unweighted. Probably not the traditional way to make Clousers, but they work well for me.

Ideal, economical, straight -eyed hook.

The Mustad is the only hook Bob Clouser specifies for his Purple Darter. When I first learned from Clouser in the 80s how to tie his Deep Minnow, he specified the Mustad 3366. He also showed us how to sharpen correctly this mechanically sharpened hook. This hook has remained the same, durable, tough, and ideal for several fly patterns.
