Coastal Blacktail Deer Body Hair

I found the Medium color this to be a great alternative to using elk hair which can be bulky and harder to work with for dry flies such as the Elk Hair Caddis. I also purchased the Bleached color which does not have an even and consistent result compared to the Medium color.

After trying several brands, I am completely convinced that this is the deer hair that a fly tyer should have, the hair is very soft, very high buoyancy, correct color, although the bleached color is darker than the photo shown, the hair is long, perfect for dry caddis patterns. I have tried all the colors of this hair and the medium color is the best of all.
