Dry Fly Grizzly Half Saddle Grade #1

Lets face it, premium saddle hackles are expensive. Not everyone can justify the price for occasional tying. Enter the Hareline Half Saddle. Its a great product that allows a tyer to add very good hackle to their inventory while not breaking the bank. The half neck I got had a good amount of #12 and #14 hackles with some smaller (#16) and some larger going all the way up to the #8 to #10 range. I wish these necks had a greater selection of colors.

These are descent feathers , most were size 10 and larger on the bird I bought. Not for small dries but but I think it is perfect for buggars.

The quality is very good on these. They will make many flies. Long feathers with little web.
