Whiting Dry Fly hackle sets the industry standard, their Bronze grade provides the best value for your fly tying dollar and 1/2 saddles allow you to get a variety of colors on a limited budget. Each 1/2 saddle provides enough hackle to tie at least 250 flies. These 1/2 saddles have feather sizes with at least 80% from 18 down to 24. Brown may be dyed if the natural is unavailable; other colors are natural unless specified as dyed.

I like Whiting Farms...

I like Whiting Farms hackle to begin with and this one didn't disappoint. Lots of hackle in the 20 - 22 sizes and even a decent amount in 24. I got a good hackle but your mileage may vary.

I needed grizzly hackle for more winter midges and mayflies and the Whiting Farms Midge1/2 saddles is perfect!

Package with a nice thick cardboard insert to protect the feathers, well played, JS staff.
