Goose Quill Pair

I was not able to use these for wings of a spey fly as the fibers within about a 1/4" of the stem to be too stiff to pinch wrap down to the hook. Almost like they're lacquered or something.

I use these for quill wing practice. These are a bit larger than the duck quills.

I like using these almost as long biots for making bodies. Very pleased with the quality as well for the low price.
