I use this almost exclusively for a size 10 grey wulff pattern that I have been working on quite a bit lately. Strong quality wire which I like as I find that occasionally I wrap materials with a bit too much pressure on the hook. The upturned / bent-in point is something that absolutely increases the frequency of "hooking up."
