Excellent light wire, slightly long shank for dries, and weighted for nymphs. I tend to prefer adding some lead wraps and using a light-wire hook rather than tying on a heavy-wire hook for my nymphs, and this hook fits my needs. Lately I've been hearing about quality issues with Mustad, but I go thru a LOT of Mustad hooks, I grew up a long time ago tying on them when they were pretty much the only fly hook brand available (back in the days when fly hook sizes made sense) and I've never been let down by Mustad.
