Sharpens hooks but is a little bulkier than the one I left laying on a river bank somewhere . I never leave home without it and use it on every trip. I don't like the groove on each side, I'd rather it just be flat which is the biggest complaint.

I have one on my tying bench and 1 in my fishing vest and I use them regularly. Quick results ... usually just need the finer side to resharpen.
