I use this for an Alewife pattern. (Pictured, wet & dry) The Bass smash it. Easy to tie with and is very durable. Can use a little as flash or use a bunch for streamer bodies.

Much easer to use than the loose fibers, the way they blend the fibers gives a cool effect to the fly.

I use shimmer for all of my flash uses now. most of my bait fish patterns have some shimmer in them. its easy to use and not a mess. looks great in the water, gives the fly depth
