These combo packs are designed for the beginning fly tyer who is setting up a new tying bench. They contain 4 pieces of quality hackle including 1 grizzly and usually 1 brown. Though not graded by Whiting, the 4 half rooster cape and saddle packs are of quality at least equal to their bronze grade with feathers mostly in sizes 10 to 16. The soft hackle pack of 2 half rooster capes and 2 half hen capes is from Whiting's 4B (Bigger, Better Bargain Birds) line. All packs represent excellent value!
