The weight on these bobbins are just right, IMHO anyway. And quite affordable.

JS Ceramic Bobbin
I decided to upgrade from starter bobbins. This one is such a great improvement. Very smooth release yet not so loose that the thread spool twists and wraps. Very comfortable for me.
