Lead Eyes

I like the medium or large size for crab patterns or closures. They never fail. I got the XL on accident, and they are HUGE! I am not even sure what patterns you would tie with them, maybe clousers for bluefin tuna or something, haha.

these are the "original" style lead eyes first produced sometime in the late 1980s.... they have a comparatively wide shape (shaped like a dumbell....) compared to many of the "heavy" or more conical shaped lead and tungsten and brass eyes available. The shape is perfect for adding weight while maintaining a slightly wider profile for many patterns. The plain lead is perfect for keeping a natural, subdued appearance on patterns for clear water with no flash. Can't go wrong with these.
