I have been using this expert distance line on my 5, 6 and 7 weight "Big D" rods for years. I wish Scientific Anglers would resume making this line in willow or mist green again instead of the horrid colored orange competition line, which is best used with very long leaders, for fly casting instruction or traditional indicator nymphing. This line effectively mends at long distances because of its long back taper. In my opinion it is the best trout fishing line Scientific Anglers ever designed.
