Just feels better and looks better than craft fur in my opinion. Also seems to be longer, which is helpful for people tying large streamers. Good sheen without being flashy, very soft, doesn't tangle too much. I still comb it before cutting but it's way less tangled and matted out of the bag than craft fur.
I still really like tying flies with arctic fox and marabou, but I can't deny that the action from polar fiber is great, and I can easily get the bulk and body profile I need by reverse tying and using in dubbing loops. It makes amazing baitfish.
