like all deer hair, quality and characteristics differ from piece to piece. Some are super quality, and some are not so good, all of them are useful for something. I've been disappointed in a few of the "premo" strips I've bought, and others have been very good with long, hollow, straight hair. Others have had short, hard, curved hair and were far from "premo".
