Supreme Vise

Would highly recommend this vise as a Starter vise for Beginners because of its many features along with the ability to add accessories. The Two great features of this vise are the ability to adjust the Vise Head Angle and the 360 degree Rotation of the Vise Head. With the vise head at 90 degrees to the stem you can rotate materials onto your hook like you would with a true rotary vise. Adjusting the vise jaws tension to hold different size hooks is fairly easy. The Standard vise jaw holds hook sizes 2 up to 20 very well. Jaws are quick and easy to change if needed. The vise converts nicely to a Pedestal Base. A Bobbin Holder works well with this vise and increases your fly tying capabilities. A few slightly disappointing factors with this vise. The machining of the vise could be better. There was a slightly loose fit between the c-clamp and vise stem which was corrected by inserting a piece of cardboard between them. Also, the adjustment **** that loosens and locks the vise jaw rotation does not give smooth rotation at different tension levels, only with slight tension. Providing a Wrench to loosen and tighten the nut used to adjust the vise head angle would be one last recommendation. An adjustable wrench will do the job, which most people have. Again, for a vise at this price with All the Features it is Truly a Great Starter Vise.

Personally, it will work but you get what you pay for. I was a bit dissapointed.
