This tungsten thread is extremely fine, strong and works well for tiny nymphs. The x-fine will tie a 28 and the fine is good for 12 thru 20. This material is actually wire but can be half hitched and adds a surprising amount of weight on smaller flies where lead creates too much bulk. 25 yards per spool.
Hareline has an amazing line of products from beads, eyes, dumbbells, hackle, feathers, tools, storage, dubbing and so much more. I definitely recommend Hareline for your tying needs.

I have a whole...
I have a whole box of size 18 flies using this stuff specifically as a point fly to throw size 24 droppers in the fall. With the proper mend you will be surprised how deep you can get a small fly using this thread. I use it behind a small bead and dub over it and you can't tell it's there and perfect for adding weight without bulk. Put it on a bobbin and after 5 wraps you must release the bobbin and let it untwist otherwise it will snap. If you considering using this for trout I would purchase both sizes. This thread has eliminated lead free wire on my bench because I could add the same weight without the bulk. We have all hear it before, "thin to win!!"

I like this product...
I like this product but am not overwhelmed. I am unsure if I will buy it again. I like it for one layer of wire on smaller nymphs. It is difficult to get a smooth body with more than one layer of wire. It is stiff enough so that, if your fingers slip or drop the spool, the wire will spring off the spool and become very difficult to respool and work with again. I have klutzy fingers so it happened more than once. One can put it on a bobbin with ceramic or glass inserts but the wire can still spring off the spool if not kept under some tension.
