This premium 10/0 midge thread from Veevus in Denmark is stronger than many other comparable threads and will not result in excessive build-up. 100 meters per spool.
I've tried a few different thread brands and the Veevus orange is the best for nymph hot spot collars in orange, it remains bright and doesn't dull like others if you put UV glue over it. Plus 10/0 is strong without a lot of bulk.

Great on Small Flies when you need to cinch down
10/0 is one of my favorite threads for small flies 14-18 where I need to cinch down for parachute hackle or a soft hackle collar. Strong and low bulk. The red color really pops for hot spots.
