This premium 14/0 midge thread from Veevus in Denmark is stronger than many other comparable threads and will not result in excessive build-up. 100 meters per spool.
The Veevus 14/0 is great for both small nymphs and dries as it has low bulk and lays flat while also being very strong which is great when you need to cinch down on nymph hackle collars or parachute dry hackle. Pretty much my go-to thread for size 14-20 flies.

Strong for its size
I like this thread for two reasons: 1. it is very strong and smooth with no fluffiness, and 2. it lays flat when wrapping it on the hook. Because of this I use it on a wide variety of fly patterns.
