Z-Yarn is similar to Betts Standard Z-Lon from Metz, but with a little more crinkle in the fibers, less sheen and much less expensive. It is great for spinner wings, sparkle dun shucks, caddis emerger cases and tails.
I use this for mayfly heads and it works for that, Haven't really used it for anything else
