American Rooster Cape

I love this hackle. It is great for wings and Decievers. I use it for more than that as I have used in on Wolly Buggers and articulated patterns. Has a super-dye job and is hard to beat for the contrast and movement. Tie with soft hackle feathers such as Whiting Black Laced White Hen or any soft hackle. There are lots of interesting feathers that have other uses.

I have a few of these, and the quality of feathers is amazing... if you care about the art of tying streamers these are what you want. Availability is horrible at best.... if you can get the colors you want, snap them up instantly. Getting matched sets of feathers for streamers is impossible with strung hackle, but it is easy with these. Availability isn't any fault of JStockard.

I really like this grizzly cape for streamer patterns. There is a good count of feathers per patch. Very satisfied with this.
